Funeral Services For Virginia A. Morris

Virginia A. Morris, 71, of Genoa, NE passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at the Genoa Community Hospital-LTC. 
Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 17, 2017 at the Albion Evangelical Free Church in Albion, NE with Denny Reis officiating. Inurnment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Albion, NE. Visitation will be 5 – 7 p.m., Friday, at Levander Funeral Home in Albion, NE.

Memorials are suggested to the family.
Virginia Ann Morris, the daughter of George G. and June (Miller) Boltz, was born on May 18, 1946 at St. Edward, NE. She attended school at St. Edward Public Schools.
On November 13, 1964 Virginia was united in marriage to Paul J. Morris at Columbus, NE. The couple lived in Albion where they raised their five children: Mary, Lee, Mike, Teresa, and Paula. Virginia worked as a waitress and later as a C.N.A. at the nursing homes in Albion, Columbus, and St. Edward. Virginia was a member of the St. Edward Catholic Church while she grew up, and later became a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Albion, NE as well as the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed cooking, canning, gardening, playing bingo, scratch tickets, drinking red beer but most important to her was her family and faith. 
Virginia is survived by her husband Paul James Morris of Genoa, NE; five children: Mary (Jim) Clindaniel of Indianola, IA; Lee Morris of Albion, NE; Mike (Sandy) Morris of Silver Creek, NE; Teresa Martinsen of Cedar Rapids, NE; Paula Stevenson of Oakland, NE; one sister Judy (George) Emeigh of Wilber, NE; 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister: Joyce Shaw; and one grandson: David Foss.
