Funeral Services for Michael J. Kenney

Michael J. Kenney, 57 of Albion, NE passed away Friday, July 17, 2015 at the Golden Living Center in Columbus, NE.

Funeral Services will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, July 24, 2015, at Levander Funeral Home in Albion, NE with Rev. Stan Schmit officiating. Visitation will be 1:00-3:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Michael Joseph Kenney, son of John and Margaret (Simon) Kenney, was born July 4, 1958 at Sioux City, IA. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Ann Catholic Church in Vail, IA and graduated from Ar-We-Va High School at Westside, IA in 1976.

Mike worked various jobs around the country including many jobs as a farmhand.

Mike is survived by two children: Christopher (Jena) Mauch of Albion, NE; Christina Kenney of Boone, IA; a sister: Mary Pat (James) Contreras of Omaha, NE; a brother: Tom (Ann) Kenney of Mandeville, LA; and two grandchildren: Gavin and Aubry Mauch of Albion, NE.

He was preceded in death by his parents John and Margaret.
