Dear Tom and Zane, My deepest sympathy in the loss of your mother. My memories go back to 1971 when we moved into Leon Wiegand's house and I was at the house getting it ready for us to move into when there was a knock on the door and it was your mother with a pan of popcorn and 2 bottles of beer perfect for a hot August afternoon and no air conditioning. This helped me so much as I was sad to leave our farm home and move to town, and our friendship as neighbors meant so much to us as your mother a cub scout leader took Kevin into their group right away and we were ok.
I did visit her at Bel Air and she knew me, wanted me to stay longer.
Life goes on for all of us with lots of changes. For the wonderful memories, Thank You. Dolores Leifeld Lingren, Skyview Villa, Norfolk NE.
