Emil Peter Stankoski, 89, of Fullerton, passed away Monday, May 9, 2016, at Wolf Memorial Good Samaritan Society in Albion. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 16, 2016 at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Krakow with Rev. William L’Heureux officiating. Burial will follow at Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Krakow. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Sunday, May 15th with a 6 p.m. scripture and rosary service at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Palmer-Santin Funeral Home is serving the family. Emil was born April 15, 1927 to Adam and Mary (Stetz) Stankoski on the family farm nine miles east of Fullerton. He was one of 11 children. He was baptized and confirmed at Ss. Peter and Paul (Krakow) Catholic Church and attended school there at District 32 until the 8th grade. During his school years, he helped with the family farm and took over the farm at the age 14. He worked the fields with horses and later, he purchased a tractor. He ran the family farm for over 75+ years. He was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing his violin, gardening, canning pickles, and making apples pies. He is survived by his brothers, Wesley (Mary Ann) Stankoski of Silver Creek, Edwin (Judy) Stankoski of Columbus; sisters, Rosie Gembica of Silver Creek, Evelyn (Clem) Rinkol of Silver Creek, Eleanor Rybinski of Columbus; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Loretta Chmiel, Cecilia Tworek, and Antonette Vetick; brothers, Zigmund Stankoski and Louis Stankoski; brother-in-laws, Michael Chmiel, Michael Tworek, Frank Gembica, Joseph Rybinski; sister-in-laws, Eleanor Stankoski and Marjorie Stankoski; and nephews, Edward and Don Chmiel, Greg Rinkol, and Jim Stankoski.
