Riverside had a lot to be proud of Tuesday night after handing the previously unbeaten Elgin Public/Pope John Wolfpack their first loss of the year at the EPPJ Triangular.

The Chargers took down EPPJ in three sets, 25-20, 16-25, 25-18.

Maddie Walkowiak led the Riverside offense with 11 kills. Grace Schalk added nine kills of her own. The Riverside serving was on point as well, led by three aces from Morgan Haschke.

Riverside also took on Neligh-Oakdale, taking the win in three sets 25-15 and 25-18.

Walkowiak and Schalk once again led the Chargers, this time with eight and six kills, respectively.

The Chargers now turn their focus towards the Goldenrod Conference Tournament. The tournament is set to begin Thursday in Humphrey.
