The first annual Riverside FFA Awards Banquet was held on April 28 to honor the accomplishments of all members and sponsors of the chapter. Greenhand degrees, chapter degrees, and other honorary awards were given to members who showed great leadership and involvement in the chapter this past year. Senior members said their final farewell to the chapter as they retired their FFA jackets.

Riverside FFA would also like to congratulate the nine senior members for receiving their Nebraska State FFA Degrees. Their time and commitment to the chapter the past four years have been truly rewarding. This year, there were 488 candidates in the state of Nebraska who received this honor. Riverside seniors who earned their degrees were Kayla Langer, Jacob Pritchard, Karli Hellbusch, Collin Martinsen, Emily Asche, Samuel Brugger, Brandy Herley, Ryan Smith, and JaCee Johnson. The Riverside FFA Chapter would also like to recognize Advisor Makayla Coufal for receiving the Honorary State Degree! Her hard work and dedication to the chapter and the FFA organization has helped the new chapter succeed this past year!

The Riverside FFA Chapter is also proud to announce the installation of the new 2015-2016 Officer Team. Serving as President in the upcoming year is McKayla Mogenson. Also serving is Vice President Molly Berger, Secretary Fina Choat, Treasurer Daylinn Feik, Reporter Marisa Vavra, Sentinel Joel Scott, Historian Amber Berger, and Parliamentarian Emma Ahlers.
