Winter Weather: 8 Inches Of Snow Possible In Boone County

The snow predictions have varied over the last week, but now that the approaching Storm Kayla is just hours away, the National Weather Service has put Boone County into a winter weather advisory and is calling for up to 8 inches of snow.

The watch is in effect from late tonight to late Tuesday night. Winds Monday night will increase from the northeast at 15 to 25 mph  on Monday and increase to 30 on Tuesday with gusts up to 40 mph.
