High Temperatures Forecast For Saturday's Football Classic

The 4th Annual Red vs. White Northeast Nebraska All-Star Football Classic will literally be bringing the heat when the two teams meet Saturday at Norfolk’s Veteran’s Memorial Park.

According to a press release, game-time temperatures are forecast for 95 degrees, with on-field heat indexes reaching 105-110 degrees by the time the game concludes by 4 p.m.

Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. The game is scheduled to be broadcast on News Channel Nebraska TV Channel 35. Viewers should check their local listings. The station’s website is www.newschannelnebraska.com. The football game can also be heard on live radio at News Chanel Nebraska 94.7 FM.

Game tickets can be purchased at the west and south stadium entrances. Adult prices are $7 and Student prices are $5.
