Boone County Relay For Life Announces Theme

This year’s Boone County Relay for Life theme is “Beating Cancer One Piece at a Time.” 

Large puzzle pieces will honor cancer survivors and victims around the Boone Central Track.  The event will be held on the morning of June 23, 2018. 

A 5K run/walk will be held, with registered participants receiving a custom T-Shirt for their entry fee.  Relay for Life team members who raise $100 will earn a relay for life shirt. Concessions will feature breakfast items.

Survivor Lap, caregiver lap, hero of hope presentation and other regular Relay for Life activities will be held.  Hopefully the cool of the morning will help encourage participation and avoid other weekend evening scheduling conflicts.  All money raised goes directly to the American Cancer Society.
