The Good Samaritan society in Albion takes pride in the difference they are making in the residences lives.
Nearly 4 years ago, the center opened a new wing of the building that was bigger and more spacious. The idea of the new wing was to give the facility more of a “home” feeling.
From outdoor dining to bringing in their own furniture, the residents seem to be happy.
Now the center is building another wing on the north side of the building.
With the success of the last addition, this new wing will be very similar.
Kerry Davidson is the Administrator at the Good Samaritan Society, and she says these expansions are just the center updating to give the residents the best quality of life that they can.
The new wing is currently under construction, but all the recent rain is putting that construction at a stand still.
If all the construction does go as planned, they are looking at opening it in December or the first of the year.
