Cardinals Score Big Victory Over West Point-Beemer

Last Friday was a huge victory for Boone Central/Newman Grove on the grid iron.

The Cardinals came into the game with a 3-1 season record. The team pulled a 56-0 victory over the West Point-Beemer Cadets.

The team had a total of 329 rushing yards, 71 of those coming from senior Blaine Kennedy. Kennedy also had a total of 112 passing yards.

The Cardinals also had two sacks on the night, senior Keaton Henry made a sack for a 9 yard loss and junior Dalton Wagner sacked for a 4 yard loss.

In their next game on Friday, the #7 ranked Cardinals clash with the #5 ranked Pierce Bluejays.

The Cardinals will attempt to move on their 4-1 season record. The Bluejays enter the match with a 4-1 record as well.
