After failing to keep up with O'Neill last week, the Boone Central/Newman Grove Cardinals hoped to regain some confidence in a tough matchup with Norfolk Catholic.

Unfortunately for the Cardinals, it ended up being more of the same in week four. Norfolk Catholic took apart Boone Central/Newman Grove Thursday night, 41-0.

The game was called at halftime due to lightning, but the Knights were still able to gain 354 yards of total offense, including 232 rushing yards and four touchdowns by speedy running back Dylan Kautz.

Offensively, the Cardinals were unable to get much going for themselves for the second straight week, gaining just 109 yards of offense.

Boone Central/Newman Grove will look to right the ship next week as they travel to Columbus Lakeview.

In other Boone County action from Thursday night:
St. Edward takes down Elba 40-0.
