Boone County Fair on the Horizon

The Boone County Fair is the place to be beginning Saturday, July 11th and continuing through Wednesday, July 15th. 

There's something for everyone during the 5 day event, including the D.C. Lynch Carnival, a Talent Show, parade, 4-H activities, a Combine Derby, a 2-car Chain Race, Back Yard Cook Off, and Ladies Day on Wednesday, among many other activities.

Old Dominion will open for headliner Jack Ingram at the Grandstand on Wednesday, July 15th, starting at 7:00 pm. Tickets for the concert are available at the following businesses:

Albion: The Boot Rack, Boone County Medical Clinic, and Country Partners Co-op (Sup's location)
Petersburg: Rae Valley Market
St. Edward: First Bank & Trust
Cedar Rapids: Cedar Rapids Bank, CVIA Insurance (Brian Yosten)
or from any Fair Board member. 

Wednesday is designated as "Women's Day" at the Fair!

There will be a Socially Inspired Canvas "Paint and Sip" class, with two sessions. The first is from 1:00-2:30 pm, and the second from 3:30-5:00 pm. For more information and to register, click here.
