Residents in Albion flocked to local grocery stores Monday afternoon as Boone and Wheeler County prepare for up to 13 inches of snow and blizzard conditions.
Dave Fisher, Assistant Manager of the Albion Thrifty Way, says that the store has been packed since 7:50 A.M. this morning. Fisher says bread and milk have been the most popular items as he’s had to call in extra help to take care of shoppers. From the local Bomgaars to area grocery stores the town of 1,600 is bustling with last-minute shoppers preparing for what they weather service says is an extremely dangerous blizzard.
